In this laboratory, studies on development of statistical and machine learning methods, and methodology for quality management and marketing are conducted. Furthermore, application studies such as service quality, customer satisfaction and consumer behavior analysis, and survey and field studies on product development, TQM, CRM, etc., are widely performed. The main research topics in recent years are shown as follows:
1. Statistical Quality Management: Development for process control methods using computational statistics and machine learning, experimental design and robust parameter design using response surface method
2. Marketing Research: Measurement of service quality, customer satisfaction and customer, cause-and effect analysis of their construct concepts, creations of new concept and its scale
3. Customer Data Analysis: customer behavior analysis using the customer purchase data, classification of a good customer, and scoring methods of customers
4. Survey and Field Studies on Management: studies on quality management, customer relationship management, sports management, etc.
